Refreshing a kitchen before selling your home
If the kitchen is sound but dated, a wrap updates it in time for photos and viewings without the cost and weeks of a new kitchen. See kitchen wrapping at KWrap.

When it makes sense
Wrapping makes sense when the layout works and the cabinets are sound, but the finish dates the room: orange-toned oak, high-gloss colours from a decade ago, or doors that have started to peel. It does not fix a kitchen that is falling apart, and buyers will still look inside the cupboards.
Choosing a finish to sell
Pick finishes most buyers will like rather than a bold personal choice: soft whites, warm greys, sage or a natural wood grain. A marble-effect worktop can lift the whole room. The colour ideas page shows real examples.
Timing
Book the wrap before the photographer, not after. Most kitchens take a day or two, and the room is usable straight away.
Be open about it
If asked, tell buyers the kitchen has been wrapped and pass on the film details and the 2-year guarantee on the work. It is a selling point, not something to hide.
Questions
Will buyers be able to tell it is wrapped?
A well-fitted wrap with heated, sealed edges looks like a factory finish. Close up, people who know what to look for may spot it, which is why it is best to be open about it.
