Before you book a kitchen wrap: a checklist
A good quote starts with good information. This checklist covers what to send, what to decide and what to ask, whoever you use. To get a quote from KWrap, use the quote form on kwrap.co.uk or WhatsApp.

Photos to send
- A straight-on photo of each run of units, top and bottom.
- The island or peninsula, if there is one, including the back.
- Close-ups of any damage: chips, swelling near the sink or dishwasher, lifting edges.
- The worktop edges and sink area, if worktops are included.
- The oven and hob area, so heat can be checked.
Decisions to make
- Scope: doors and drawer fronts only, or panels, plinths and cornice too? Worktops?
- Handles: keep the current ones, or fit new ones at the same time?
- Finish: a shortlist of two or three looks is enough; final choices are made with physical samples in your own light.
- Timing: any dates the kitchen must be usable.
Questions to ask any wrapping company
- Is the film architectural interior film, or DIY vinyl?
- What preparation is included: cleaning, degreasing, filling?
- Are edges heated and post-heated?
- What guarantee is given on the work? (KWrap gives 2 years.)
- Can I see physical samples in my kitchen?
- How long will the kitchen be out of use?
What happens next
KWrap looks at the photos, checks the surfaces are suitable and arranges a survey with samples. See what happens on wrapping day for the job itself.
Questions
Do I need to measure the kitchen?
No. Photos are enough to start, and anything that needs measuring is done at the survey.
Can I get a price from photos alone?
Photos give a good idea of the job, and the price is confirmed after the survey, once the surfaces have been checked.
